Church Facade - Chicago, IL
I had mis-named this image for years. It was when I scanned the original negative that I discovered I took this on the north side of Chicago and not in Kankakee.
Clybourn Bob -1988 - River North, Chicago, IL
An interesting character. I met him while walking our guard dog, a Great Dane, in the empty lot close to the building that housed the Cornerstone Magazine darkroom and circulation dept. as well as well as Tone Zone recording studio among other things. It was autumn. We talked. He talked about a bridge club and I thought he was talking about the card game but it turned out he was talking about touring the covered bridges of western Indiana. He was a friend of the reclusive Landlord of a neighboring building and a landlord himself.
The original B&W silver print was a custom solarized to enhance the image texture.
